Lil Nas X says Covid-19 pandemic has delayed plans to collaborate with Miley Cyrus

American rapper Lil Nas X said he once planned to collaborate with singer Miley Cyrus, but the idea stopped because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking further Andy Cohen SiriusXM live, the singer suggested that collaboration could be possible this time.

“I had plans to work on this song with Miley early last year and then the pandemic happened,” Nas X said.

“We didn’t get to meet or anything. But, you know, maybe it’ll happen now.”

It is pertinent to mention that Miley’s father, Billy Ray Cyrus, collaborated with the rapper to get the 2019 hit. Old Town Road Remix.

The song became his No. 1 single and so far, the groovy song holds the record for most consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

It’s no surprise that the rapper continues to stay in touch with Billy after his overnight success.

“The last thing I sent a message to Billy Ray Cyrus was, how are you? [It was] maybe a month or so ago, “he said.
