I think it's fair to say that the most important news in BlizzCon was the revelation of BOB, a partner of Overwatch's new hero, Ashe. BOB (Big Omnic Bodyguard / Butler) was one of the many people in the short animated reunion that seemed to be a new character that could be played, which Blizzard even recognized during the opening ceremony. Soon after this video, Blizzard announced that it was Ashe who would be Hero 29 and that BOB (and his little hat) would instead serve as her Ultimate ability. BOB could have kept the bad news, but he's just happy to be here.
Ashe is now live on PTR, and ESL_OneAmongstMany from Twitch has made a favor by jumping in the game and waving at BOB. As you would expect from such a loved and immediately classic character, he will not ignore the gesture. Look:
Yeah, when you're at BOB, he's back. I've checked this breakthrough and, frankly, it's kind of a thing that Overwatch should go through in a Game of the Year, despite the fact that it was launched in 2016. BOB may not be able to make the prizes because I suppose it will be too busy at the head of his own movie that makes him shame, including Citizen Kane.
As for Ashe, you can get a complete breakdown of its skills from BlizzCon. If you own Overwatch on your PC, you can jump into PTR now to try it (and BOB) before it's hit live on PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime in the near future. Blizzard has not yet announced the exact launch date, but the only thing we know for sure is that BOB is already perfect.
