Until now the bodies known to the new generation of Corolla are hatchback (with hayon) and rural areas. None of them is marketed in Argentina nor is it in plans of the future local brand.
On mechanics, in Brazil I'm talking about a new one 2.0 with direct injection, 170 hp and 21 kilometer torque. The boxes would be manual and automatic CVT with six steps.
The new generation of Corolla will also have a variant hybrid propulsion, which will combine – as a Prius – with a combustion engine and an electric motor.
