Baby's Baby Pattern was recalled in the midst of suffocating fears

A baby's dummy called 3 Birds Little Birds was recalled amid fears of choking or strangling babies or young children.

BIBS mannequins, which come in many colors, including white, gray, blue and brown, were sold nationwide between May 1 and December 22 last year.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) warns that some parts of the pacifiers might break out and find themselves in the infant's throat, and a cord or ribbon attached to a manikin could pose a stranglehold risk.

The Little Birds device failed to include a warning that this could happen in its packaging, as required by all patients to comply with safety regulations.
