Xiaomi today officially unveiled not only the new Redmi Note 9T, but also the slightly cheaper Xiaomi Redmi 9T. It costs only 170 euros and has a lot to offer, at least on paper.
In the following lines you can find out how it is equipped, when it will be officially launched and to what extent it is extremely similar to the Poco M3.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T: Specifications
Redmi 9T is a very large smartphone, which the dimensions of 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm make it quite clear. The weight of 198 grams is still completely good for this size. According to the manufacturer, the back should be made of plastic, which has a non-slip structure, which makes the device even easier to hold. In addition, it will almost certainly be quite immune to fingerprints.
One reason for the huge size is definitely the display, which is interrupted by a teardrop-shaped notch. It is a 6.53-inch IPS panel with a pleasing resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. The internal MIUI 12 user interface, based on Android 10, is used as software. Xiaomi Redmi 9T is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, which we already know from Poco M3. There is also 4 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB flash memory, which can be expanded with a micro SD card. The absolute highlight of the smartphone is definitely the huge 6,000 mAh battery, which definitely ensures a very good battery life. With the included 22.5 watt power supply, the 9T is only charged with up to 18 watts, which is still completely fine for about 170 euros. There are also stereo speakers, an infrared port and even a 3.5mm jack connection is on board.
Finally, let’s take a look at the cameras, which hardly differ from the Redmi Note 9T: here too the main camera has a resolution of 48 megapixels and there are two sensors with 2 megapixels each, which are responsible for macro photos and effects. depth. The Redmi 9T also has an ultra-wide-angle camera, which unfortunately doesn’t have a 9T rating. It has a resolution of 8 megapixels. The front camera also has an 8 megapixel resolution and is in a small notch on the front.
The equipment is very reminiscent of the Poco M3. Only the rear design and the number of cameras differ, because unfortunately the M3 does not have a camera with a very large angle.
