Vienna – domestic cinema can expect an upward trend: in the previous year, Austrian film productions accounted for 5.7%, an increase of 0.8 percentage points. However, fewer people went to cinema than in 2016: at that time there were 15.1 million cinema tickets, in 2017 only 14.6 million tickets were sold, as shown in the current film.
