Teenage Girl stabbed to death at the Dhaka school headquarters

A teenager was killed in front of the school in the Sayedabad area of ​​Dhaka this afternoon.

A young man named Sohel, aged 26, attacked Sharmin, 15, on his back, with a mace at about 14:00, said Azizur Rahman, police officer of the Wari Police.

Sharmin was urgently taken to Mitford Hospital by locals where doctors declared his death, the police official said.

Sohel was beaten by the angry crowd and later taught to the police. He is now undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) under police custody, OC added.

Sharmin's body was kept at the Medical Salimullah Medical College for autopsy. The doctors said they first discovered they had wounds stabbed on the back of their neck.

Sohel had watched Sharmin for the last year, supposedly Swapan, Sharmin's maternal uncle. Last Friday, Sohel called Sharmin on his cell phone and threatened her with life, he said.

Sharmin's family filed a general journal with the Wari police station on the matter.
