DLC Leakage for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate includes some new surprising characters

The new leaks revealed a list of characters expected to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in a future DLC package, with some surprising names that also included Smash fans being shocked to see.

First reported by GearNuke, leaks came from 5Channel, a Japanese forum where information about Smash Bros. was found. Ultimate and other Nintendo Switch games.

On January 3rd, a post in early December was found, which seems to contain a list of characters that will be included in the game as DLC in the future.

Leaks suggest that Rayman Ubisoft will finally be included in the DLC package – the character was rumored to have appeared in the game in September. The yellow-haired character failed to appear in the game when he was released, but could be on his way to the future.

Erdick of the Dragon Quest series was also mentioned, alongside Ryu Hayabusa from DOOM's Ninja Gaiden franchise and Marine, with leverage suggesting that all three will release new titles in 2019 and these characters will be introduced to Smash Bros. .

Finally, Steve de la Minecraft was also named as a set of characters to come to the battle franchise with two Pallet-shaped Swap-shaped Alex and a Master Chief from Halo . Steve has also been rumored to be included in the basic game, but leakage will now be released in Smash to promote DLC for Minecraft Dungeons.

There is currently no information as to when these new characters might become available, but leaker suggests we will get more information at E3 2019 in June, while another Nintendo Direct presentation is due to take place this month.

Of course, all these characters are just rumors and may be incorrect. However, seeing Rayman and Steve from Minecraft in Super Smash Bros. would make for an incredible experience for Smash fans.
