Chairman Michael Michael's board of directors resigns following a criminal investigation
Police have reported sex charges against six students in connection with alleged sexual assault
Director and Chair of the School Board of St. Michael's College resigned the days after the allegations of aggression and sexual assault of pupils in the private institution of all boys.
Toronto School says chief Greg Reeves and chairman of the board of directors, Father Jefferson Thompson, have resigned so that school can move forward without distraction.
The school was criticized for failing to report promptly to alleged police incidents.
Police have reported on sex charges against six students earlier this week in connection with an alleged aggressive attack.
Force now investigates six incidents at Catholic school.
The school says both Reeves and Thompson want to allow the school to focus on healing and change after the "horrible" incidents have been revealed.
