Sony has been busier than this year, winning some critically acclaimed titles for the PlayStation 4 console, just over five years, and gaining impressive statistics along the way.
In honor of the fifth anniversary of the console, Sony revealed that they have sold more than 86 million units of the popular gaming system to date, along with nearly 778 million software units around the world. Both figures, we should point out, are up to September, so they have undoubtedly increased in the two months since.
With the introduction of several console stories in context, Sony says it has expanded its 11 major software upgrades to PS4 since it was released in 2013. And, at first, the gaming giant launches a special console package in the course of this month in honor of the milestone.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 The PS4 package will be available on November 27 at nationwide retailers for $ 299.99.
