UCF QB McKenzie Milton gave up the field after suffering a serious foot injury against South Florida

UCF defender McKenzie Milton was taken off the field after suffering what seemed to have been a severe foot injury during the second quarter of a match against South Florida. Milton was surrounded by teammates and coaches from both teams, being accompanied on the ground by medical staff.

Milton suffered a third-line injury. After he got to third place and 7th, Milton made a kick to the right foot from a defender who made the game. Although there is no official word about injury, judging by what could be seen through television cameras during the game and afterwards, it seems to be a serious injury to Milton.

The junior winner is one of the most prolific in the history of the program, after starting his career under the supervision of Nebraska coach Scott Frost. He threw 8,597 meters, 71 touchdowns and 21 interceptions. Dramul Darriel Mack Jr. came in relief from Milton. Mack started instead of Hawaii against East Caroline after Milton suffered an ankle injury early in the season.

Knights are now heading with a series of 23-game winnings and hopes to reach a New Year's bowl for the second consecutive year.
