Despite criticism for Diablo Immortal, Blizzard is delighted with mobile titles.
A new report suggests that Blizzard is currently working a Pokémon GO style game based on the Warcraft universe (through PCGamer).
The Kotaku site has published an article about Diablo's past, present and future that talked about the popular franchise, including The Immortal Devil, the mobile title announced in the last BlizzCon which was strongly criticized by fans.
They point out that despite the negative reaction of Diablo Immortal, Blizzard is doing the opposite because they are very excited about mobile games because many developers usually play them, including of course the popular Pokémon GO uses augmented reality technology .
In the report, they point out that the creation of this Warcraft-based Pokémon GO title is due to the enormous revenue it could generate, but it also indicates that Cory Stockton's chief designer, who worked in World of Warcraft, is a great fan of the Pokémon franchise.
Although there is little detail about it, it is expected that the title will have features similar to Pokémon GO but also has some new features such as individual game mechanics.
What do you think about the idea of Warcraft GO for mobile?
