Mota-Engil, the Portuguese construction group that is present in Europe, Africa and eight Latin American countries: Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Brazil, Aruba and the Dominican Republic, received $ 232 million in Peru during this year.
This award corresponds to a total of 10 projects, such as: the construction of the Vizcachas and Bocatoma Titire (Anglo-American); building Phase 4 of the coast of the tailings dam for Las Bambas mining; Land works in Mina Justa (Marcobra); and Port Paracas Terminal (Puerto General San Martín) among others.
When awarding contracts on the Peruvian market, the recent issuance of Trust Investment Trust Certificates (CERPI) by the Mexican group subsidiary amounts to $ 150 million. The resources of the Investment Fund will be used to fund projects in different Latin American sectors and countries.
Ricardo Camelo, general manager of Mota Engil Peru, said the CERPI Fund will allow Mota Engil Peru to make future investments to co-finance reconstruction, health and education projects, among others.
