Portugal

When more than three decades ago, Costa Rica began to talk about clean energy, it seemed to be the construction of sand castles, but today time has proven to be right and the country has achieved great successes beyond good promises and good intentions.
This small country of 3.4 million people has already capitalized on the full potential of its hydropower generation and has invested 3% of gross domestic product (GDP) each year in structural reform to achieve energy sovereignty over the years drought and reduce its environmental footprint. Clean Energy XXI highlights the fact that Uruguay has invested over 22 billion dollars in sustainable removable energy over the past six years and is now a regional leader. Iceland and Lesotho

The main uses of geothermal energy are heating of buildings, with 45.4% of total geothermal energy consumption and electricity production by 38.8%. Approximately 85% of the country's homes are heated by this energy.
This road is not easy, there are many interests, especially big oil companies. Now the march to victory stops nothing. They advance against all the chances in Spain, with a new place in Argentina and of course in Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico and Brazil.
