Guajira will generate wind energy for the country's ecology

National Authority for Environmental Licenses (ANLA) has issued its first wind power license for the "Alfa Wind Generation" project to be developed in La Guajira.

Rodrigo Suárez Castaño, ANLA Director, stressed that the project will work together 65 wind turbines or turbines and an electrical station that will collect energy from the wind farm and then connect to the national transport system.

The ANLA Director stated that the license was shipped with approval of indigenous communities who lives in the village of Limoncito in the municipality of Maicao.

This is the first wind project in which ANLA participates and is currently processing other environmental license applications for two wind projects and three solar energies.

According to the commitment of President Iván Duque of the Uribia Building of the Country in which he assured that the participation of Unconventional Energy in the country to at least 10%, 10 projects of the same type should be created.
