Macondo Prize Winners for Best Cinemas in Columbia – Film and TV – Culture

Laura Mora has recorded his first feature film five of the 11 awards she has proposed. The film was chosen in the Best Film, Direction, Script (for Mora and Alonso Torres), in support of the actor (Camilo Escobar) and the sound.

Other winners of the ceremony, which took place in Bogotá at the Ágora Convention Center, were Amalia, the secretary: Marcela Benjumea and Enrique Carriazo (main actors) and Patricia Tamayo (secondary actress).

The film "Tropical Virus", inspired by Power Paola's graphic novel, won two awards: the best animation, the original song and the audience. The same number of awards as the "Amazona" documentary, selected as the best of its kind, in addition to better original music and editing.

The awards also featured two biographies, the Macondo Honorific for veteran actor Álvaro Rodríguez and the other, to technical works given to Mario Montealegre.

The actress was led by Isabella Santo Domingo and CNN anchor Juan Carlos Arciniegas.

Then, the full list of winners of the eighth edition of Macondo, which was awarded by the Academy of Arts and Cinematographic Sciences of Columbia.
