High blood pressure or high blood pressure are the most common disease in the cardiovascular system. There are about a fifth of the Czechs, but many of them do not know about it. The high pressure does not hurt and if the doctor does not reveal it during the examination, it can lead to death.
At first, high pressure is inconsistent, but if not treated, it can lead to serious complications. This causes, for example, myocardial infarction, stroke or pulmonary embolism and also affects the kidneys.
Physicians may decide to use medicines that lower blood pressure. The basis is a healthy lifestyle that includes everyday life. Patients should also reduce smoking and alcohol and try to eat healthier. Even food needs to be careful – some foods increase pressure.
