Producer from recording studio Sono Pavel Karlík, who collaborated on this album evolution Lucy's band, even after thirty years of practice, could not guess if the recording would have liked it. "All four band members have their own projects and it was not entirely sure how it will go, but it worked well," he said after filming for about a year.
Some parts of singer and drummer David Koller recorded in his studio in Mikulov. The musical production was co-produced by Karlík and all members of the band, including guitarist and singer Robert Kodym, bass guitarist P.B.CH. and keyboard Michal Dvorak.
Karlík is a master of sound, and the producer is signed under a series of popular and classical Czech music. With Lucie, she worked together for a long time. "Some relationships and professional habits have remained after 16 years, so I kind of returned to the old tracks and had a positive atmosphere during the filming, but I was not comfortable," Karlik said.
Four of the songs were mixed by invited foreign producers, John Spiker, Mike Clink, Mike Fraser and Mark Plati. "There are songs next to each other in the Nouzco studio near the world's producers and there is no difference, but Robert Kodym wanted to try what he would look like when the people who admired his whole life were able to find him. to reach Mika Fraser knows especially AC / DC mixtures, "Karlík said. "She has an excellent mix and I'm glad he did it just as I do," he added.
As a guest, the album also includes foreign artists alongside Czech singer Lenny, vocal choir from Prague Gospel Limited, Krless band playing historical instruments and permanent guest Lucie Adam Koller. Apart from the singer Sakina Teyna, there is also Phil X, the current guitarist from Bon Jovi, who played solo in the track The best thing I know. "BrainZone, first through Clinka, wanted to get to the guitarist Slashe of Guns in Roses, but it did not work, but recording with a beautiful solo of Phila X has landed," Karlik said.
Producer Sono has an album title evolution. "It's not like we had to play our song as a producer, so the band chose to compete with others, including us, so we're glad they went through the" test-filter, "Karlik added.
The album was released today, and on November 13th in Ostrava, the tour starts at EvoLucie. Karlik also takes part in the concert series as a sound engineer.
