President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met on Thursday with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talaat.

The Chair highlighted the advanced priority that the ICT sector places in the country's plans and strategies, taking into account its vital role in the economic and social development process in which it intends to use the latest technologies to implement projects in this field.
The president also called for stepping up work on the transition plan towards the digital government, including the development of efficient and effective human and management staff so that they are qualified to work in a digital environment using the latest technology. Simple and easy.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology presented the vision of transforming the digital government, which includes the new administrative capital, taking into account the contribution of digital government in ensuring a participatory environment between different ministries, institutions and state bodies through an electronic network and electronic platforms, electronic and allows for the implementation of a government performance monitoring system as well as the provision of contact points for the provision of government services.
Dr. Amr Talaat also reviewed the human-training mechanisms through a series of initiatives that will be implemented in the coming period to develop the digital skills of young people from different groups, either in ICT or students.
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology also presented the executive position for setting up Knowledge City as well as efforts to create a digital cultural content portal that includes inventory of all the cultural content that will be displayed on the portal.
