Runners suffered worse than normal temperatures to complete Nashville Half Marathon, Marathon and 5K on Saturday morning.

With temperatures in the '30s, hundreds of runners competed in the event they started and finished at Nashville Sounds' First Tennessee Park.

The event, sponsored by Rhythm Running, has benefited from the Middle Tennessee Gilda Club, which provides support to cancer patients and their families.
