Mercedes-Benz is dressed in a surprisingly conservative dress.
At the 2016 Paris Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz presented the Generation EQ study, which is the preview of the state-of-the-art EQC electric car. In recent years, two hundred prototypes have been built, tested cold and hot, and some of the security center have completed their core career. At first, electric cars were still in service with GLC and GLE, but the last two seasons were already overwhelmed by their highly disguised and final bodywork. They wanted to make sure, but that's not because the unusually long test phase is the reason for the expectation. There was a need to create a battery production capacity, Daimler does not want to depend on a supplier, so the company, owned by Deutsche Accumotive, assembles a modular battery system. The unit using lithium ion technology is located in a frame that is part of the power absorbed frame of the machine, otherwise the high-voltage control unit is located.
The shape has been transformed over the years in the fact that there is a traditional grille in the front of the car, and the lights that have already been linked to the graphics are already connected through a brightly lit LED line. The EVA construction kit is specially designed for electric models where the gauge and wheelbase can be freely adjusted to allow the maximum battery size to reach between the axles below the floor.
The EQC will start with a capacity of 80 kilowatt-hours, but according to engineers it will reach 110 kilowatt-hours in the near future. There is also an electric motor of 204 hp on the front and rear axles, so the power of 408 hp is the system power, 765 newton torque system torque. It is 5.1 seconds 0-100 km / h sprint, electronically limited peak speed at 180 km / h and promises a standard range of more than 450 kilometers. Up to 120 kilowatts of DC chargers could be powered by batteries, but there are still 50 kilowatts of batteries used today. The liquid-cooled charger has a power of 7.4 kilowatts, able to power fast, especially with the Mercedes-Benz wall charger.
The economical driving aid tells you when you start to kick off the accelerator pedal to get the exact speed at the end of the acceleration and to increase the recovery energy if it is tilted. Mercedes-Benz does not want to be the first to be on an electric car race, but rather to pass on the traditional values of the brand, for example, to make steel springs very comfortable. Body mass of 2425kg helps to eliminate jams, with 650 pounds of battery.
Like the latest brand designs, two large-scale displays are the dashboard and, of course, the MBUX digital assistant is also on board. In the menu system behind the EQ mosaic, there are dedicated options for the electric car, including time-consuming charging, remote compass control and moving navigation in full swing. With contrasting colors and materials, ie soft and hard surfaces, the interior of the electric car is unique. The red color characteristic EQ is visible on the vent holes in the EQC ventilation holes. From the beginning, the more sporty look of the AMG Line package can be configured with a new spectacular 20 and 21 centimeters.
In Norway, orders for the EQC type are already received by dealers, with a payment of 20,019 crowns, with almost seven hundred thousand forints, and the total purchase price corresponds to 23 million forints in order of magnitude. In Europe, in the second quarter of 2019, we launch the market, we will get cars from Bremen. In addition, EQC will be produced for Beijing Benz Automotive's regional market, with the former CCS system, the latter being GB / T in China or the Japanese standard CHAdeMO for lightning-charged.
