Mahindra & Mahindra announced on Friday it will increase the price of its new Marazzo MPV from Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 as of January 1, 2019.
Marazzo was launched in September with introductory prices starting at 9.99.000 Rs and reaching up to 1.39 million Rs, depending on the variants.
"As mentioned in the launch, Marazzo's price was an introductory one. Starting January 1, 2019, we will make a price increase on Marazzo after a reasonable period of four months from launch," Mahindra and Mahindra Chief of the Department Automotive and Sales and Marketing, Veejay Ram Nakra, said in a statement.
The new MPV was co-designed by Design Studio Mahindra and the Italian design house, Pininfarina.
It was designed in collaboration with the Mahindra Technical Center in North America and the Mahindra Research Valley, Chennai.
