Trans Java Translucent Expedition, Surabaya-Jakarta 14 hours more

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Trans Java Toll Road Expedition arrived Monday at the end of the month (11/12/2018) at Telkom Landmark Tower, South Jakarta.

The group consisted of Rini Soemarno, Minister of State Enterprises (BUMN), official of the BUMN Ministry until the heads of the SOE reached the final point at 20:30 WIB.

PT Telkom employees warmly welcomed the arrival of the group that traveled from Surabaya to Jakarta in one day via Tran Road Toll Trans Java.

The start starts from the Woll Mountain Toll Gate at around 06.00 WIB and ends at Telkom Tower Tower at about 20:30 WIB. The total travel time for Surabaya-Jakarta is approximately 14 hours and 30 minutes, with a total distance of 796 km.

The long trip is crossed by eight stops at several points that have been determined with a duration of 10-30 minutes.

The trip from Surabaya to Cikampek is relatively smooth. But the group has been severely blocked by the Cikampek toll road in Jakarta for more than 2 hours.

Earlier, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) CEO, Desi Arryani, said travel time for Surabaya-Jakarta would not be 10 hours due to the congestion point on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

Therefore, he qualifies Surabaya-Jakarta's estimated trip to 14 hours or 30 minutes, faster than the Trans Java Toll Road Expedition.
