Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain wants a comeback before the end of the season.
International England has been marginalized since suffering a serious knee injury against the Roma in the Champions League semi-final at Anfield in April.
Jurgen Klopp actually led Oxlade-Chamberlain from the entire 2018/19 campaign, but the £ 35m man expects him to be ready to play a role during the run-in.
"I would like to be able to make an appearance at least before the end of the season," he said.
"The next target for me is to build more in the gym so you can go out again. Probably I have to do two months of running that is not my favorite thing.
One Liverpool player, Roberto Firmino, is missing at Anfield – and not Philippe Coutinho
"Once the ball is out, it will get easier. I've already started to pass a ball that feels good. When I get out I will feel a lot closer.
"Even when I'm back, I'm not going to be fully racing, but it would be nice to get a few appearances before the end of the season, probably more to prove I can do it, then I have a good pre-season and we start next season again. "
Oxlade-Chamberlain claims that Jurgen Klopp's unwavering support and support messages from club fans have helped keep his spirits on the long road to fitness.
"Jurgen was massive for me," he said.
"Whenever I see him, he has a smile on his face. He is really positive and keeps me in his thoughts.

"When he talks about the team, he'll tell me what's nice, especially when guys do that well.
"He gave me time." He said, "We know how long it will be, do not worry, do good and we'll go again." I'm glad to hear that.
"It was a very difficult time, the impossibility of doing what I like, I had wounds before it was hard." The fans said, "He's hurt again, you can not trust him, he's always hurt."
"But here I only received positive feedback from fans. You can not ask for anything.
"When I remind you that you are missed and can not wait to get back there, it keeps you massive. I can not thank enough for that.

"I want to go back and reward her patience and support, returning to the field and making it to the level at which I was before and even better hope."
Oxlade-Chamberlain talks extensively about the biggest disadvantage of his career and his rehabilitation program in BetVictor's latest edition, "This is Melwood."
The 25-year-old knew he had been facing for a long while while on the Anfield turf in agony in April after slipping down to depose Aleksandar Kolarov.
"I've had a lot of blows over the years, I'm not one to rotate around, I'm going back pretty soon," he said.
"But right away, I knew I was in a bit of trouble – something bad happened." Dejan Lovren stood over me with his head in his hand.

"I remember standing in the tunnel recovery room and asking," Is this my ACL? Be honest with me. "
"They said they were worried about it and how it turned out to be."
Over the past seven months, Oxlade-Chamberlain has shown close ties with adolescent striker Rhian Brewster, who is on the way back after performing both ankle and knee surgery earlier this year.
Brewster received the green light to start training at Melwood, while he plans a senior debut.
"It is nice for me to have a younger young man whom I can also guide him," said Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"Rhian is a brilliant boy and I do not have to tell him too much. Much of the time, he checks me.
"He is so positive and has that young enthusiasm about him. He keeps me.
"He decided to leave me now – so selfish that he would return to the field and leave me here!
"I'm glad to see him pushing. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do now on the field.
Oxlade-Chamberlain says he has a duty of gratitude for physique Richie Partridge, who was with him every step.
"Richie was great for me," he added.
"The most important thing is mental battle. There are days when you do not do well, your knee is painful and you are frustrated.
"Richie is good at seeing those moments and saying," Well, do this today, cook your head and start again tomorrow. I can not thank him enough, but he has not replaced me yet, so I can not take him too far!
"You probably have a lot more bad days than good days when you're in a state of rehab because, in the end, you do something you do not want to do.
"You are here with the boys every day, you laugh and joke with them, then go and put your boots to train you, you leave yourself in a silent room to do a job in a gym. especially when you know it will be a long process.

"I sit at the window watching the training – seeing Robbo (Andy Robertson), trying to pass a ball and then give him a little stick when it comes!
"I'm trying to go to games, then it's the most frustrating, but it's important to show support to boys."
