JERUSALEM, November 21 (Xinhua) – Israel completed a two-day cyber security nationwide exercise, the Prime Minister's Office said.
The "Magic Circle" circle, the first of its kind in Israel, in terms of complexity and variety of participants, simulated cyber attacks on government and public bodies, and sectors of the Israeli economy.
The exercise, conducted by the Israeli National Cyber Directorate at the Prime Minister's Office, involved government ministries, local municipalities and Israeli security, transport and energy organizations.
The aim of the course was to continue to improve the level of national preparedness for cyber attacks, while enhancing cooperation between the different parties.
"We have successfully completed the largest national exercise ever conducted as part of Israel's national training for a cyber attack," said Yigal Unna, head of the Cyber National Directorate.
