The first replica of Azerbaijan's representative at the international junior competition "Eurovision-2018" Fidan Huseynova took place on stage "Minsk-Arena" in Minsk (Belarus).

Fidan Huseynova participates in the contest "I Wanna Be Like You" ("Sənin kimi olmaq"). The musicians of the contest are the famous composer Azerbaijan Isa Melikov and Fidan Huseynova. The composition is in two languages ​​- Azerbaijan and English. The author of the Azerbaijani words is Ayten Ismihanova, in English – Elvira Michieva.

A representative of Azerbaijan in the contest will come to the seventh stage.

The International Eurovision Song Contest "Eurovision-2018" will be held in Minsk on November 25, 2018. Slogan of this year's Light Up contest.

The candidacy of Azerbaijan's representative for this year's competition was approved in the framework of the domestic selection of Azerbaijan Public Television.

Fidan Huseynova was born in 2005 in Moscow. He became the first at the Art Festival Baku Baku in the classroom of 9-12 year old performers in 2017. This year, Fidan has participated in several projects, including the song "Tell Alleluia" duet with Elnur Huseynov.

She won popularity after the Baku concert by Lara Fabian, the girl entered the stage of Heydar Aliyev Palace and sang the legendary song Je t'alime with her.

Fidan received a scholarship and her name was added to the Golden Book of Young Talents by order of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev in 2016. He followed abroad in 2018: he traveled to Vienna and Italy. In Vienna, he performed at the concert "Creating the Bridge Through Songs", and in Italy, Fidan played at the San Remo Festival, where he took 3rd place.

In addition to voice, Fidan is interested in chess. He started taking chess lessons in 2010 and has already managed to win more tournaments, including the World Chess Championship in Azerbaijan in 2017.

For the first time, Azerbaijan was represented at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 – Omar Sultanov and Suad Alekperov with the song "Girls & Boys" took 12th place.
