Dick Pound, a senior member of the International Olympic Committee, questioned whether the Tokyo Summer Olympics would be scheduled.
Pound said in press statements that he is not sure that the Olympics will take place, in light of developments related to the Corona virus crisis.
Pound stressed the need to give priority to receiving the vaccine to all participants in the session, adding that the organizing committees of the Olympics should ask all athletes to receive the vaccine to give them the green light to appear in the international forum scheduled for July 23-38 next August.
