With four defenders crossing the defender Drew Brees, Saints of New Orleans they beat 31-17 at Atlanta Falcons, on Thanksgiving, at NFL Week 12 in Superdome.
Brees stepped on Tommylee Lewis's traps, 28 meters in the first quarter, 12 meters to Austin Carr in the second quarter, 25 meters to Dan Arnold in the third period and five meters to Keith Kirkwood .
The Falcons came close when their defender Matt Ryan hit the diagonals with Calvin Ridley, two feet in the third period and Tevin Coleman four meters in the fourth quarter for the final score of 31-17.
The Saints improved their record to 10-1, with 10 consecutive wins to be the best team in the league, while the Falcons were 4-7 and have no chances to qualify for the postseason.
