At a ceremony held on Friday, November 9, 2018 in Tunis, four winners were awarded four parallel prizes, and here is the list:
International Federation of Cinematography (FIPRESCI) Award: Joud Said's "Unfinished Travel" (Syria).
Africa Film Critics Film Festival (FACC): "Sofia" Meryem Ben Micke (Morocco).
Tunisian General Union of Labor (UGTT) Award: Ons Technician Saadi (for editing the film "Subutex" by Nasreddine Sehili-Tunisia).
Prix Ciné Promesse: The prize was awarded ex-aequo to "Agony" by Ghassen Jeribi (Tunisia) and "This beautiful life there" by Rami Alloui (Algeria).
The "Misfit" movie in Karanja MG. Endo (Kenya) won second prize, and "Children Dar Bouidar" and Kouraogo (Morocco / Burkina Faso) of Isabelle Chapman won the third prize.
A special mention of the jury was given to the film "Hind 's Houses" by Dina Naji (Saudi Arabia).
