After Sunnmørsposten met, the interested person will receive private funding as a position in the company of the environment.

Police attorney Hilde Haugen of Møre og Romsdal police district confirms Sunnmørsposten that they have received a notification from the environmental company's management.

– I can confirm that I received a review of the corruption clause. The Årim administration has sent the notification, "says Hilde Haugen.

– What about the notification?

– The notification refers to the corruption clause. Since we have an ongoing investigation, I can not go into this issue in detail, "the lawyer said.

After Sunnmørsposten knows, the leadership of Årim became acquainted with this matter early in the fall.

The minutes of the Årim Supervisory Board meeting of 26 October show that the hearing was closed when the chairman informed about what was considered to be the case.

Payment received

Following the disclosure of Sunnmørspost on Friday, the police sent a news release on the relationship.

– The reason for the notification is that the management of Ārim must have received information that a person has received a payment to affect the recruitment processes of the employees.

– Police are investigating the case against corruption in the Criminal Code. The investigation has so far shown that it is a limited amount that could have been obtained in connection with individual recruitment processes.

In addition to the above, the police have no further comments, says communications counselor Eli Anne Tvergrov in the Møre og Romsdal police district.

– We sent the review

The Årim administration does not want to comment on this issue and refers to President Reidar Andresen.

– As chairman, I can confirm that I have sent a notification to an Ārim employee for alleged corruption. The reason is that I received an internal notice of such a thing. And to ensure an objective and thorough investigation, I felt that the only thing right was to provide a police notification. We had a good dialogue with the police. The person is suspended pending the result of the field research. It is difficult for me or for the company to decide more on this issue until the police have completed the investigation, "says Reidar Andresen at Sunnmørsposten.
