The WWE Survivor Series 2018 has undergone a series of major changes this week and will now be named by Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan and Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair in a pair of matches for the first time to go along with a 5-star 5-star survival game that involved a lot of top stars, including Rey Mysterio, Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon.

Pay-per-view will be WWE Network's third event in just three weeks, the purpose of which is to return recent battles to keep fans subscribed to the network. After reaching a record high of 1.8 million subscribers in the second quarter of 2018, that number fell to reality in Q3 2018, dropping to 1.66 million and continuing the WWE tendency to constantly lose subscribers after WrestleMania is in the books every year. As a result, WWE now loads the card with a Rousey / Flair match that was once set to the WrestleMania 35 main event& nbsp; and a helical fight between Bryan and Lesnar that many fans would have thought would never happen.

With both Raw, which is not far from generating more viewing minima, and SmackDown, which has has dropped under 2 million viewers, also battling in the rating department, the WWE pulls out all the stops with a loaded Survivor Series card, which will have big names like Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and The Miz. Over the past few years, when the Survivor Series, which focused on "the battle of brands," eventually dropped significance to little to nothing in the long run, WWE will be looking to give fans a show of quality that sets the stage for success TLC and Royal Rumble pay-per-views.

That, of course, will come until the reservation, which has already been thrown for a wind ride, with a series of major changes this week. Here are five smart booking decisions that WWE has to make at the Survivor Series 2018.

Daniel Bryan & nbsp; Upsets Brock Lesnar & nbsp;

Brock Lesnar's seemingly endless momentum has become remarkably tedious and has never been more exemplary than Crown Jewel when, for one reason or another, the Beast has beaten Braun Strowman.

Now, WWE is in another situation where Lesnar will go one on one with one of the most popular and respected WWE stars, this time his new WWE champion in Daniel Bryan. Since Lesnar & nbsp; has begun to dominate the image of the universal title on Raw for more than a year and a half, the WWE Championship has typically taken a seat in the back. In fact, since re-branding in July 2016, a WWE championship match has never played a leading role in paying co-branded pay-per-view. Yeah, never.

This can not change to the Survivor Series, but WWE can throw fans a bone, giving Lesnar a rare loss, no matter how unlikely it would seem. Lesnar's contract& nbsp; guarantees only that he will work at least one more game after the Survivor Series (and will stay with WrestleMania 35) so there will be no harm, no mistake made if he loses Bryan, probably on his way out of the company and maybe back to the UFC in the near future. This is especially true if Bryan can win a whistle victory over Lesnar through some kind of assistance from Strowman, which would meet the goal of continuing the struggle between Strowman and Lesnar (certainly have unfinished business as allegedly defeated for a Royal Rumble match), while protecting Bryan and the WWE Championship.

The last thing fans fancied to see is that Lesnar dominates or even beats Bryan, especially after Lesnar's victory over Strowman at Crown Jewel has left a taste in the mouths of fans who thought it was time to crown him Strowman The Universal Champion. In addition, it would create an exciting dynamic to see Lesnar, the dominant dominant champion, responding to a rare loss.

Strowman and Drew McIntyre escape as surviving soul

There are two stars that could benefit more than anyone else, coming out of the 5 out of 5 men's game as soul survivors for their mark: Strowman and Drew McIntyre.

In the absence of the Romanian princes and Seth Rollins linked to Dean Ambrose for the moment, Strowman is clearly the third part of the child on Raw, and that great draw& Nbsp; and the extraordinary car of goods, WWE must continue to push him strongly at a time when fans want to be clearly "the guy" on the WWE's emblematic show, even despite those heat reports backstage. The same is true of McIntyre, who WWE has big plans, & Nbsp; as the "Scottish Terminator" reported the support of Vince McMahon and Triple H& Nbsp; and could be involved in the photo of the universal title& nbsp; on the way to WrestleMania 35.

As revealed by McIntyre's recent victory over Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, he is clearly on the edge of the super-stardom full of recent faces of Elias and Strowman (as well as the injury of Triple H and Lesnar's status on half), McIntyre left the NXT call at Raw's upper heel in less than seven months. McIntyre's impressive growth, which has all the tools to be the best star on Raw, must continue, and there is practically no better way to make sure it happens than through the fact that he has become one of survivors of the soul to the Survivor series.

With a lot of big stars, from Kevin Owens to Reigns to Triple H, all at this moment, the WWE has to move forward with steam, massive pushing for Strowman and McIntyre. A victory in the Survivor series for both stars could achieve this goal.

On at least one or two Hey / Front Heads

Survivor survivors will host three separate 5-per-5 matches for men's, women's and team teams, and those matches, though rarely long-term, are the perfect stage for heels or for children.

In recent months, we have seen important stars such as Daniel Bryan, Bobby Lashley, Bella Twins and Becky Lynch being revived by the heels, while stars such as Strowman and Elias excelled after turning the baby. With so many different factors involved in traditional Survivor eliminations, such as Strowman and McIntyre who work side by side or Shane McMahon fighting again after winning the World Cup, there will be many opportunities for WWE to shoot triggers several major heels or come back during matches that are tailored for the stars to betray their crews.

Some names who participated in elimination matches from 5 to 5 that were related to potential late returns include Asuka, & Nbsp;Miz and Shane McMahon, just to name a few. With Lesnar, he is likely to be short-lived, as an absent university champion and stars such as John Cena, Roman Reigns, Triple H and Kevin Owens, all on the sidelines, WWE has the opportunity to create new stars in their absence. and as we have seen with celebrities like Lynch and Elias, a change in character can do wonders for a star's career, especially if it takes place at a WWE wage during a big game.

Ideally, WWE will remember this and use the Survivor Series to advance with at least two pairs of heels or heels that eventually lead to the height of the stars that can wear the company, while Cena, Reigns, Lesnar and others are not around.

Becky Lynch helps Charlotte Flair fight Ronda Rousey

Credit: WWE.comCredit: WWE.com

WWE built Brock Lesnar as a dominant world champion who held the title for over 500 days, so it could mean more when Roman Reigns finally defeated him for the belt.

The idea was that WWE wanted Reigns to be the "guy" and would use his victory over Lesnar to help him bring him there. Now, WWE is in a similar situation to Charlotte Flair, who will replace the injured Becky Lynch and face Ronda Rousey in a true dream match once penalized as the main event WrestleMania 35. Obviously, a massive victory for Lynch over Rousey would have made a long way toward crushing the Irish superstar as one of the first stars of the business, which seems inevitable given how popular it has become. But with this possibility out of the window, WWE has to decide now whether Rousey should lose at Flair instead of "crossing the torch" of sorts.

It's incredibly rare for a superstar to reach Lynch's level, where the vast majority of WWE's furious fans want to see it successful, which means that despite her absence on the card she should feel the presence of the Survivor Series. With Rousey vs Lynch now which could be held at WrestleMania 35& nbsp; and with the speculation that WWE is building a battle between the four monks at Rousey and WWE, the finish that makes the most sense of the Survivor series is Lynch helping to defeat Flair Rousey.

It's a logical decision, especially considering how Flair and Lynch have put aside their differences on SmackDown, that they could add more fuel to the Lynch / Rousey fire, and that they would protect Rousey, all while they set up that Four Horsewomen dream match. It sounds like a win for everyone involved, is not it?

Dean Ambrose Costs Seth Rollins Match against Shinsuke Nakamura

Credit: WWE.comCredit: WWE.com

The hot red war between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins has been a major success on YouTube (see: here and here), suggesting that "Lunatic Fringe" is likely to become WWE's most ugly shit, while Rollins will somehow become even more popular.

WWE clearly has long-term plans in place for this story as Rollins vs. Ambrose published as one of the main events in TLC in December& nbsp; and is also promoted a series of other upcoming live events& nbsp; also through WrestleMania 35 in April. Ambrose disappeared from his beloved to the tired heel and although he does not have an ad game at the Survivor Series, he could and should feel his presence to a greater extent, costing Rollins dream match against the United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura of SmackDown.

Nakamura vs. Rollins is a very anticipated phenomenon that we will never have the chance to see again, and if Ambrose will ruin that as he continues to cut off his old friend, this is a safe way for Ambrose to continue to be a heat magnet he is growing into the most despicable WWE villain.

Controversial non-finishers are not good at the WWE audience, but in this case (as with other big matches on the Survivor Series), it is the right call, given Raw's need for Ambrose to be a dishonest bastard and the continuation of the attacks on Rollins he would have done to roll Rollins to the child's top spot on the red mark.

Dean Ambrose Costs Seth Rollins Match against Shinsuke Nakamura

The red-hot war between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins was a major hit on YouTube (see here and here), suggesting that "The Lunatic Fringe" is on its way to becoming the most ugly WWE's heel over time what Rollins will make it more popular.

WWE clearly has long-term plans for this story, as Rollins vs. Ambrose is announced as one of the main events in TLC in December and is also announced for a number of other upcoming live events until WrestleMania 35 in April.
