The campaign "Moldova knows of Hepatitis C" continues in Iasi County. The TVR Iasi TV studio will broadcast on Wednesday, 7 November, at 19.00, the show – "Iasi knows Hepatitis C."
The guests of the show's editor, Claudia Dănăilă, will be Prof. Dr. Carmen Dorobăţ, manager of Iasi Hospital for Infectious Diseases, Dr. Catalin Sfarti, head of papers, primary gastroenterologist at the Institute of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Iasi, and Dr. Maria Ioniţă, doctor by family.
"Iasi knows hepatitis C" will be received in the whole region of Moldova, and viewers will be able to ask live questions at 022.214.171.124 and on the Facebook page of TVR Iasi, which will take over the show in full.
The topics addressed will be related to informing the public about the causes and effects of C-type hepatitis C infection, as well as the fact that testing and investigations are free of charge with referral from the family doctor and the treatment is now a revolutionary one with a success rate of nearly 100%. In the same vein, viewers in Iasi will be made aware of the easy route to anyone to follow to receive Hepatitis C treatment and the fact that all those diagnosed with this disease, regardless of degree fibrosis, now have access to treatment, which is completely free for CAS patients.
