The Volkswagen Tarok concept was presented at the Sao Paolo Auto Show. Pick-up with a cabindouble, length of 5 meters and all-wheel drive also offers the possibility of extending the load space.
The Volkswagen Tarok was built from scratch and merged, promises Volkswagen, a lifestyle design in tandem with the practical advantages of such a vehicle.
Tarok has a variable load space. The bumper floor can be extended by opening the rear part or by a new mechanism that allows folding the lower part of the cab rear panel. Thus, very long objects can be loaded there.
The interior is another step ahead of Volkswagen in the pick-up segment and one very bold. The digital board, Cypress Metallic accents, a multimedia glass screen, digital controlled air conditioning create a modern space.
The Tarok concept is powered by a 1.4-liter four-cylinder TSI engine that produces 150 horsepower. the production version will receive the 2.0-liter turbo unit with the same power. The powertrain is coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission and sends power to all four wheels through a 4MOTION integral drive system.
Unfortunately, Volkswagen Tarok will not reach us, at least not in the near future. The model is reserved for the Brazilian market.
