King Fahd Bridge General Manager, engineer Fahad Al-Daoud, has confirmed that there is a trend currently being studied to reduce taxes at peak times, which is a reduction in the number of vehicles and passengers to help reduce congestion.
Al-Daoud highlighted another proposal that is being studied to set a special speed for those who want to speed up travel procedures for a sum of 500 or more rivals for business people.
He revealed during the monthly meeting of the monthly Oriental Chamber, receiving the commercial technical study of the new parallel bridge project next week, underlining that the project will be open to foreign investment on the basis of profits and knowledge.
He explained that the executive procedures will begin immediately after the post-study procedures, which are due to be mid-next year, are completed.
He stressed that the Foundation is in the process of integrating stopping points on the bridge to reduce them from 5 points to at least two in agreement with officials from both sides in the customs, security and traffic.
