Ivory Coast: AfricInvest invests 12.2 million euros in Centauri Road


The AfricInvest private equity company invested 12.2 million euros in one of the most important logistics and local transport centers in Côte d 'Ivoire, Les Centaures Routiers (LCR). The investment will allow the CRL to consolidate its truck fleet, currently more than 400 vehicles, to create a new place to consolidate all its transport and logistics activities and to increase the company's capital, says a statement of AfricaInvest.

Founded in August 1953 by Jean-Jacques Delsuc, the CRL offers road transport for a wide range of goods such as hydrocarbons, palm oil, beverages and sugar. It also provides basic logistics services such as warehousing, handling and renting of premises, the company has 2000 m2 of warehouses in Abidjan and sites in several cities in the country (San Pedro, Bouaké, Bouaflé, Yamoussoukro). Its agribusiness customers are PalmCi, SOCB, Cargill, Olam, Sarci, Sifca, and Solibra, etc.
