Ndiassane (Thiès), November 27 (APS) – Calif. Ndiassane, Serigne Sheikh Bécaye Kounta Ibn Bécaye, asked the head of state, Macky Sall, the asphalt of Ndankh, a religious town located 7 km from Mékhé.
He expressed this dissatisfaction with Serigne Mame Abdourahmane Kounta, who spoke to Interior Minister Aly Ngouille Ndiaye during the official ceremony of Gamou Ndiassane's 2018 edition celebrated on Monday through Tuesday.
According to Serigne Mame Abdourahmane Kounta, Caliph Ndiasane gives a "special attention" to this route, recalling that their ancestor, Sheik Bounama Kounta, founder of Tarikha Khadre, lived in Ndakh before setting up the religious city of Ndiassane.
He stressed that the paving stones of the Ndankh are one of the first projects that the religious guide hopes to achieve at the beginning of his caliphate.
Serigne Abdourahmane Kounta said he hoped that this path would be "before the great gathering of believers in Ndankh", which he intends to organize soon.
He indicated that the health of the latter "does not allow him to go there" with the current state of the route.
