India refused to issue a visa for the women's boxing team to enter the country and prevented it from participating in the World Cup, Tanjug confirmed from the Serbian Federation of Boxing.

The move by India, a country that did not recognize the so-called Kosovo, comes the day after Spain, which also does not recognize the so-called Kosovo at the request of the International Olympic Committee, allowed athletes from Kosovo to use symbols, pavilions and hymns in the country in big competitions in the future.

The Women's World Championship takes place from 15 to 24 November in New Delhi.
