On Wednesday, Professor Jayne Svenungsson announced in a press release that he had left the Swedish Academy in a little over a year.

"That I am leaving is due to the fact that I first wanted to assure the survival and future of the Academy by voting on the recent invasions." she writes in the message.
She writes that there are a number of reasons that have determined her decision, but it does not go any further on who they are. She points out that she is now working at Lund University, where she is a professor of systematic theology.
