Friday's launch is seen as a rehearsal for a space battle equipped on Dec. 3.

A Sojuz Russian-made rocket was postponed in its first launch at the ISS after an October accident when a spacecraft had to leave Kazakhstan. The two on board have succeeded.

Friday's launch is seen as a rehearsal for the next crew release scheduled for December 3.

Then, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques and Nasas Anne McClain will be sent to the ISS.
