The Era System Astronomer will leave early access to the PC and Xbox One on February 6, 2019. In fact, the developers wanted to take a new step in December 2018, but until then, bug fixes and fine tuning were too short it was.
Together with the early access end, a large content upgrade will be launched. In an exploratory adventure, you will explore seven new planets with their own challenges (dangerous flora, terrain, mysterious structures). In addition to new vehicles, modules, objects, costumes and narrative elements, you can still customize the character. Dedicated servers should allow virtual space adventurers to build their asynchronous base through Xbox One and PC Crossplay. After the end of early access, the game will be provided with free updates for about a year. A look at the developers' roadmap can be found here.
Astroneer is currently available for Steam Early Access and Xbox One (Game Preview) for $ 19.99, but on November 16, 2018, the price will rise to $ 29.99. Astroneer accepts German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Turkish. So far, more than two million sales have been recorded.
In addition, the lower 0.10.5 update is available for download (change log).
