DECISION OF APPROVAL
The Third Criminal Chamber of the Istanbul Regional Court decided to appeal to the International Criminal Court in Istanbul on 9 February.
The criminal department, the defendants Huseyin Avni Mutlu, Huseyin flirtatious, Erdal Cakir, Necmettin Kalkan, Nurullah Cakir, Fatih Sahin, Murtezi Balci, Yusuf Yavascan, Feyzullah Ozcan, Haluk Nadir and Yilmaz Kurt convicted by the local court and acquittal sentences he found.
The court, which ruled that there was no procedural and substantive violation of the national court's decision, therefore decided to reject the merits of the appeals against the defendants.
The accused Hüseyin Avni Mutlu, Hüseyin Çapkın, Erdal Çakır, Necmettin Kalkan, Nurullah Çakır, Fatih Şahin, Murtezi Balcı, Yusuf Yavaşcan and Feyzullah Özcan, Haluk Nadir and Yılmaz Kurt were acquitted.
Former Hüseyin governor, Avni Mutlu, was sentenced to 3 years, 1 month and 15 days in prison for "knowing and helping the organization voluntarily in the hierarchical structure of the organization."
