For CES 2021, Acer has prepared an updated line of game monitors. The devices are intended for use by a wide audience of gamers who use both PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X game consoles.

The Acer Nitro XV28 was the first Acer monitor to receive HDMI 2.1 support, is equipped with two such ports, and the corresponding cable is included in the package. Thus, the monitor can display an image in 4K resolution at 120 Hz and VRR (variable refresh rate). The new product also contains a DisplayPort, a USB-C port with 65 W power delivery, four USB A-type 3.0 ports and a USB B-type port. The monitor itself is based on a 28-inch IPS panel with 4K UHD resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels). The device offers 90% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, offers a contrast ratio of 100,000,000: 1, supports a refresh rate of 144Hz and has a response time of 1 ms. Other features include TÜV / Eyesafe certification, support for AMD FreeSync Premium and Acer Agile-Splendor IPS technologies. The latter allows you to see a clear image even when looking at the screen from a wide angle. The Acer Nitro XV28 game monitor will be available for $ 899.

The Acer Predator XB27 game monitor offers users a 27-inch panel with WQHD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels) and support for refresh rates up to 275 Hz. The response time of the matrix is ​​set to 0.5 seconds. The device supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 and offers 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. In addition, support for NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer, NVIDIA G-SYNC and Acer Agile-Splendor IPS technologies is reported.
