According to their blog post on August 1, 2019, along with the 32-bit version, developers are required to post 64-bit versions of Android apps on Google Play, be it a new game / program, or by updating an existing application. The only exceptions are some games that use the Unity 5.6 engine or previous version, as developers have just added support for the 64-bit architecture.

After this date, Google will continue to support 32-bit games and apps in the Play Store for two years, but as of August 1, 2021, all non-compliant applications that do not have the 64-bit version will be removed from this store. The requirement does not apply to Wear and Android TV systems because these platforms do not support the 64-bit code
For developers, it was not a surprise, as the 2017 search giant announced it would stop supporting 32-bit applications. For ordinary users, practically nothing will change, at best they will be able to use the full potential of their devices using 64-bit software. By the way, last year, Apple also dropped 32-bit applications, but first for MacOS High Sierra and then for iOS 11.
