2019 NFL Draft: Michigan standout DL Rashan Gary says as a top-five potential pick

A defensive line class already loaded has become a bit more impressive, as stated by CBS Sports Premier, no. 3, Rashan Gary for the NFL 2019 project on Monday. Michigan's defense midfielder said he would give up his senior season and join a project that already shows fans of Ed Oliver in Houston and Nick Bosa in the Ohio State (who retired from Ohio earlier this year) the only two players ahead of Gary. Nr. 4 is Clemson's defensive end Clelin Ferrell.

Gary was also number 24 athletes in the 2016 class when he entered the Wolverines. The 6-foot-5-pound, 282 pounds will finish his career in Michigan (waiting for a play with a potential bowl) with 119 blows, 23 fights for a loss and 9.5 bags. He was an anchor on a defensive line in Michigan, which is loaded with talent, including another early selection potential in Chase Winovich (No. 47 on CBS Sports).

Gary missed three matches this season with a shoulder accident – the entire month of October – before returning to play against Penn State. He injured his leg in Saturday's loss in Ohio. As for Michigan's bowl game, this announcement indicates that he may end up staying out, especially after his last injury.
