I do not want the Fortnite cube monsters to go

The Kotaku game logDaily thoughts from a staff at Kotaku about a game we play.

In the last few weeks, cubic monsters have been injured Fortnite matches (do not call them zombies or hurt feelings of epic games). But on Sunday, they and their association disappeared from the game. It was beautiful, but I was sad. Cube Monsters have been my favorite things to happen at the game since the introduction of the game in 50v50 mode almost a year ago. So I was relieved when I woke up this morning and learned that there was still a little time left in the new limited game, Team Terror.

Added to the game in today's v6.22 update, Team Terror is essentially the Fortnitemares event of the game made in its own separate work. Anyone who still wishes for Halloween hordes of purple Purple AI, like me, can fill up their mixed PVP action in this way. Teams consist of 32 players each, and the monster is scattered on the map, with us appearing every time the storm closes. The Terror team is also rich in a resource with a higher material rate, better falling rates and lost golden monsters that can be hunted for legendary booty.

In the same way that 50v50 has helped to open more opportunities during matches, making you as likely to be surrounded by allies as enemies, cubs, you also add a fun distraction to the usual race race towards the center the map, their scrappy towers. Almost does Fortnite you feel like a MOBA. Close.

Players in FortniteSave the World mode works cooperatively to destroy enemy waves for years, but having cubic monsters in the competitive modes of the game in the past two weeks has also been a good reminder that Fortnite may be fun in other iterations beyond brutal struggles with zero sum for individual survival.

Even with thousands of aggro monsters running around, the game is still distinct a royal battle shooter. At the same time, with hordes on the farm to increase the shield, extra ammunition and rare occasional object opens an alternative way to get the Wonster W. The breeder after a circle closes with a bunch of strangers just to meet a team from the enemy team and I lose all the break of hell, are some of the most fun I've had in my recent memory. Above all, the presence of monsters really eliminates interruptions between seeking enemies to shoot at.

I am relieved that Epic has found a way to keep this element around PvP for at least a little more. Who knows what next to play now that Kevin Cube went nova. Someone might be back in a month and tell me and probably would not have believed it. However, it would bring future updates, I hope there will be more monsters.
