The wedding, which Deepika and Ranveer announced last month in their social media accounts, took place in Lake Como, Italy. A mehendi and a bloodshed took place yesterday, where Ranveer Singh was thought to have made a great entrance to Tu Ne Maari Entriyaan in his Gunday movie. Deepika and Ranveer are supposed to have asked their guests to donate to Live Love Laugh Foundation, which is headed by Deepika, instead of wedding gifts.
Pre-wedding holidays started for bride and groom earlier this month – a Nandi puja took place at Deepika Padukone's home in Bengaluru on November 2 and a haldi ceremony for Ranveer Singh in Mumbai two days later.
Two wedding receptions were planned for newborns once they return from their Italian wedding – one in Deepika's hometown of Bengaluru on November 21, and a big Bollywood party in Mumbai on November 28.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are believed to have met for almost six years and played in three films together – 2013 Ram Leela, Movie 2015 Bajirao Mastani and the controversial "Padmaavat, "which was released this year. All three films were directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
