At an event in Aula Magna at the Central University of Venezuela, union leaders agreed on a fight against the government of Nicolás Maduro in order to make wage improvements.
The intergremental assembly brought together trade union leaders from across the country like Keta Stephany, the leader of Fapuv; Rubén González, from the trade union workers; Eduardo Sánchez, of the UCV Workers' Union; Pablo Zambrano, leader of Fetrasalud, and José Bodas, in charge of the United Workers' Federation of Petroleum, Gas, Similar Systems and Derivatives in Venezuela.
Sanchez announced the agenda. Monday, 12, mobilization at the headquarters of the Caracas subway to protect redundant workers; 13 th, of the Ministry of Education; at his 14th press conference at the University Clinical Hospital, and on the 15th he intends to develop a basic education action with Fapuv.
He showed that, despite the political persecution they are victims of, next week they will maintain the social protest across the country, and for November 27 they have convened a national march. They also invited workers to attend the Labor Ministry on December 6th. "We can put our prisoners, but they will not make us bend," Sánchez said.
Bodas said the government's purpose is to criminalize the workers' struggle. "Oil production in Venezuela will not continue without a living salary."
Trade unionists and public employees have tried to protest yesterday and were willing to leave the University to get to Plaza Venezuela, but GNB and PNB have blocked them and prevented the tour.
"You were instructed not to let us pass, but this struggle was born and will grow in the heat of social struggle," Sanchez shouted.
Gonzalez said that, despite intimidation, he will continue on the streets. "The government has stolen all the resources of the Guyana companies. This country lives in a dictatorship," the unionist said.
Although the act was announced by the Amplio Venezuela Libre Frenzy Conflict Committee, which convened 14 activities across the country, there were voices in UCV who said they did not want anything with parties and politicians. In Aula Magna there were no representatives of that coalition.
In the regions. The guilds of the Lara and Aragua states have demonstrated against low salaries and non-compliance with collective agreements.
In Barquisimeto they visited the streets of the city, but Lara Police blocked the paths and prevented advanced concentration.
From Avenida Bolivar de Maracay went to the Legislative Council to issue a document with applications for basic workers demands.
Teodomiro Aguilar, a representative of retirees in the education sector, denounced that 90% of the collective bargaining issues were "annihilated" by government economic measures.
Chavista and head for Fedecamaras
The leaders of President Nicolás Maduro responded to his appeal and went to Fedecámaras headquarters in Caracas against alleged responsibility for the country's economic crisis and spraying the minimum wage.
Governing parties have blamed employers for raising product prices and spraying family incomes. Fedecamaras, who dismissed the action, said the economic crisis beyond the country is due to the failure of government measures.
"We cautiously warned that this (measures) will not address the roots of the problems, will not solve the problem of hyperinflation, the crisis." He is now trying to accuse the business community of failing these measures, "said President Fedecamaras Carlos Larrazabal.
